In the city of Zhanatas, Jambyl region, a 38-year-old man was found dead from stab wounds in his home. The tragic incident occurred on October 16, according to the regional police department’s press service.
Details of the Incident
A neighbor alerted the police after hearing loud noises from the house.
When medical workers arrived at the scene, the man was still alive but later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
“The man was transported to the hospital in a state of clinical death at 14:25 on October 16. He had multiple stab wounds on the left hip area. Despite all resuscitation efforts, death was recorded at 15:07,” stated the Jambyl regional health department.
Suspect Arrested
According to police reports, the altercation arose among acquaintances during alcohol consumption. A suspect involved in the incident has been arrested and placed in a temporary detention facility.
“A pre-trial investigation has commenced under the charges of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm leading to death by negligence. Investigative actions are ongoing to determine all circumstances of the case,” said the regional police department.
