On October 19, the weather across several regions will change dramatically, bringing rain and snow, with frost expected in some areas. This was reported by meteorologists from «Kazhydromet».
Mixed Rain and Snow Expected
According to forecasts, rain and snow are anticipated in the western, northwestern, eastern, and southeastern regions.
The rest of the country will experience dry weather conditions.
“Winds are expected to strengthen across the country. In the north and mountainous areas of the southeast, fog will develop, reducing visibility,” the report states.
Frost in Some Regions
In the Kyzylorda region, nighttime frost is expected to range from 1 to 6 degrees. In the northern parts of Almaty region, frost could drop to 1 degree at night.
High Fire Risk Areas
Meteorologists warn of high fire risk levels in several regions.
Regions on high fire alert include: Mangystau, Atyrau (northeast and southeast), Aktobe (south and east), Zhambyl (central), Kyzylorda (north and central), Almaty (west), Kostanay (southwest), Akmola, Ulytau (east and central), and Abay (south).
Furthermore, parts of Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Aktobe, Almaty, Kostanay, West Kazakhstan, and Ulytau regions are expected to experience extremely high fire risk levels.
